Festival Venue

The 2010 US Kadampa Buddhist Festival will be held at the Kadampa Meditation Center New York (KMC NY) in the magnificent World Peace Temple. KMC NY is an international spiritual community dedicated whole-heartedly to fostering inner and outer peace. It is run entirely by volunteers. People of all ages and backgrounds come here to enjoy the Temple, Shop, Café and grounds, and to discover the possibility of leading a happy, meaningful life. Visitors find that the Center provides an unsurpassed natural environment and perfect conditions to relax, reflect and practically experience what it means to be a contemporary Kadampa Buddhist.

KMC NY is located on 82 wooded acres in the colorful Upper Delaware River Valley in rural New York, one of the most natural and pure areas in the Northeastern US. It is approximately two hours from New York City by car, and very near the New Jersey and Pennsylvania borders.
