Festival Teachers

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab has studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. He is the elected General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition–International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU) and the Resident Teacher at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre in Ulverston, England. Gen-la Khyenrab regularly teaches at International Festivals and Celebrations around the world. During the US Festival, he will grant the empowerment and give teachings.

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the elected Deputy Spiritual Director of the NKT-IKBU,NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for the US and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center California in Los Angeles. Additionally, Gen-la Dekyong teaches worldwide at International and National Festivals and at US Dharma Celebrations. She will guide the meditations.

Gen Samten Kelsang is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center New York in Glen Spey. He will give the introduction to the Festival.

Gen Kelsang Jampa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Texas in Dallas. He will lead the retreat to conclude the Festival.
