At the US Festival, we enjoy pure teachings, powerful blessings, inspiring friends and at the same time contribute to the NKT International Temples Project (ITP). Profits from the US Festival and Dharma Celebrations in the US support Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s compassionate vision that Kadampa Temples dedicated to world peace appear to help people in every major city. These Temples take many forms. Some are based on traditional Buddhist architecture, such as the World Peace Temples at Manjushri KMC, the mother center of the NKT-IKBU, and KMC New York. Others are adapted from existing commercial buildings, such as KMC Texas and KMC New Mexico. Still others are incorporated within Kadampa Hotels, like those in Spain and Italy. International Retreat Centers are also included within the ITP.
