Everyone Welcome to the NKT-IKBU US Festival 2013

Inspired by the fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the annual US Festival is an opportunity for people from around the country to gather together to renew our inspiration. Open to everyone, the US Festival is the perfect way to enjoy meaningful relaxation and a spiritual vacation in the peaceful environment of Kadampa Meditation Center New York and the World Peace Temple.

This year, join us as Gen-la Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, will grant the empowerment of Green Tara, the female Buddha of active compassion and wisdom.  Gen-la will also give commentary to Advice from Atisha’s Heart. By relying on Buddha Tara and developing a deep understanding of Atisha’s advice, we will attain special wisdom that can make every moment of our life meaningful.
